Inspiring creativity fuels my journey….
Liam Pinheiro-Rogers, an award-winning filmmaker based in London, has honed his craft across various facets of the film industry. Inspired by the 80s fantasy film "Clash of the Titans" from a young age, Liam embarked on a journey to become a creative storyteller. By age 13, his passion solidified into a desire to pursue filmmaking. Since then, he has written, directed, and sometimes even produced professional short films, commercials, and music videos, starting with small projects around his secondary school and local area.
Notably, Liam's recent short film, “London’s Forgotten” (2022), received acclaim at prestigious festivals such as the BAFTA qualifying Leeds International Film Festival and the British Urban Film Festival. It garnered a nomination for "Best Director" at The British Short Film Awards and secured the title of "Best Experimental Short Film" at The South London Film Festival. On June 11th, “London’s Forgotten” will have its online premiere on the BIFA qualifying Director’s Notes. His directorial prowess extends to music videos like "Kabsai" for May Roze and "Little Sister" for The Burnt Tapes, as well as an impactful advert for the charity Missing People's SafeCall campaign, shedding light on county lines exploitation.
Driven by a commitment to storytelling, Liam endeavors to tackle diverse and significant themes across various styles, genres, and formats. Currently, he is in the development phase of his next project, "Scelus," an urban horror that holds potential for a feature-length adaptation.
